Introducing a surprise 30-minute short film continuing my ongoing street photography and videography work in New York City. While much of this year lived within my ‘Summer in the City’ project, this film focuses on what unfolded outside of those months. It moves through street life across multiple boroughs, captures the Thanksgiving Day Parade, and explores deeper undertones that have become harder to ignore, including the presence of AI, street preachers and expressions of faith, and shifts in architecture that quietly point to gentrification and the city’s constant state of change.
Over the past year, I’ve been having a lot of fun pushing this hybrid way of working, mixing street photography, video, and music into something that feels unique to me. It’s been exciting to see how much this approach has grown since the first Cinematic Reality videos and to keep learning along the way. I’m genuinely grateful to everyone who’s been watching the films, sharing them, or showing support here through the reels I make to promote them. I hope you enjoy this film and this raw look at New York, outside of the usual cinematic treatment.
