First up: Wan 2.1. Think of it as the Swiss Army knife of video AI. You type in a prompt or upload a picture. Wan spits out a video. It even adds sound effects that fit your scene. I once tried turning a photo of my dog into a short video-Wan made it look like he was running through a field. Not bad for something free.
Next, there’s Hunyuan Image-to-Video. This one’s from China. It’s like giving your photos a heartbeat. You feed in a still image, and suddenly it’s moving. The results? Super realistic. Imagine taking a vacation photo and watching the waves actually roll in.
And then there’s CogVideo. This one’s tiny. I mean, you can run it on a regular laptop with just 6 GB of VRAM. No fancy computer needed. It’s perfect if you just want to play around or test out ideas without worrying about your hardware.
Here’s the good news:

H4A huge thank you to #PiSugar for sending me the new #WhisplayHAT and the #PiSugar3 battery pack for this project. The Whisplay-AI-Chatbot running on my #RaspberryPi Zero 2 W is an incredible #opensource idea that transforms a compact setup into a fully portable #AIassistant.
I’ve been experimenting with different LLMsand decided to run this one on #Google ’s #Gemini, which I’ve found to be more efficient than #OpenAI for API handling. The combination of the Whisplay HAT’s integrated microphone, speaker, and display with the PiSugar 3 power solution makes it a perfect setup for AI on the go.
Thanks again to the PiSugar team for the great hardware and for sharing such inspiring open-source work.

I was originally going to start doing this project last month, but then the superhuman memory blew up and I ended up focusing on that for a bit.

ROOpen-source LoRa transmitter project! Each message sent is securely encrypted with AES-128-CBC, ensuring security with every long-range transmission. The receiver is designed to output the number command received in binary, allowing easy interfacing with an Arduino or any other microcontroller! This allows DualCast to be the ultimate control center for IoT devices :)
