• Tape pressure points if needed

LEBreaking in ballerina shoes is one of the most painful parts of ballet training. 🩰
New pointe shoes are extremely stiff, designed to support a dancer’s full body weight on the tips of their toes. Dancers have to soften them by bending the sole, working the box, and wearing them during practice so the shoe molds to their foot.
Until they’re broken in, the shoes can cause blisters, bruising, and pressure on the toes, which is why dancers tape their feet and build up strength over time.
