EM"Steamboat Willie" got that name because the song mickey is whistling is called "Steamboat Bill". "Chill Bill" is a song by @youngrobstone RobStone named after the Movie Kill Bill which also has whistling.
Now that Steamboat Willie is in the public domain, he is free to do things he wouldnt be able to do when under the ownership of Disney. I thought it would be fun to have Steamboat Willie do a music video for Chill Bill and call it "Chill Will". Referencing the steamboat bill to steamboat willie naming, and modernizing it

I drew all the animation by hand in adobe animate. And composited everything in after effects. I will post a video showing my process soon.
It was a very involved process because i had to learn the style of animation used in steamboat willie and learn to match the style, the art and animations as closely as possible. So not just drawing the art in a similar way but matching the different styles of animation from frame to frame.
