It was about time for an update on my free programming course in C++! 😄👨‍💻 Last few weeks I planned to make quite some progress. However.. it didn't go quite as planned.. 🥲 I had a feeling I made a mistake. At first I didn't want to give up to this feeling but I just couldn't let it go as I do want to bring the most value as possible. So, I dived into my previous episode again and yes.. I found an issue. The issue was when I try to force a circle between another circle and a wall with a space equal to the diameter. This type of float precision gets so extremely low it basically never resolves. Which is a big problem. The solution was quite easy by setting a cap to the overlap checks. This way we can determine that the amount of checks is too much which does indicate an extreme friction. (Unless at extreme velocities, but let's not go that route shall we?... 😄) Anyway, although I didn't made the progress I wanted, and I did end up procrastinating.. I didn't stand still either. And some times it's okay to realize and take a step back. I'll just take the pace that fits my circumstances. 😇 Hopefully I have more interesting stuff to share next week! ❤️ - - - - - - - - ⚡ Any questions regarding this course?
