As a quilter, the idea of making clothes is so intimidating, but I’ve always wanted to try! So I decided to start with something that is so close to just being a quilt- a quilted vest!! I used some scrap wovens from @fableism for the patchwork side and fabric from @suzyquilts line on the other side. It’s giving me fall vibes for sure! This pattern is @hisydgraham ‘s #rubyvest and she has video tutorials to help you make it. I watched and rewatched several parts of the video, it was much needed. If you’ve wanted to try making quilted clothing, I highly recommend this pattern! I’m already excited to make another one. I’m also thinking a toddler size version would be cute for my daughter 💕 *side note: showing of a quilt in a video is much easier than showing off clothes in a video 🫠🤣 I’d like to try a shirt next! Do you have any clothing pattern recommendations for me?!

When you use pre-quilted fabric you can probably sew these up in 1-2 hours each 🤭 The fabrics were purchased at @bombthebrand and make for such an easy project.
