Here’s what really happened on the Koh Tao → Samui ferry crossing 🧳🌊 Luggage was washed overboard during a recent ferry crossing from Koh Tao to Koh Samui after a large wave hit the bow. What started as a rough but manageable ride turned dangerous — the barrier holding belongings gave way, and several suitcases ended up floating. Rescue teams, including a speedboat, later tried to recover what they could. Sadly, not all bags could be saved. Thankfully, no passengers were harmed; the only loss was luggage. This incident raises real questions about sea travel safety on island-hopping routes.
