PAMAYDAY. I need help. Things have never been more dire in the jungle. After Sunday’s post people gave been asking what is happening. Well here it is. The great wilderness I used to explore is now being destroyed. The new roads are set to rip the reserve we are trying to create in half — and destroy the wildest place on earth. I need help guys.
Here’s the deal:
• For the last 20 years I have worked with indigenous leaders (like JJ) to save this forest, for that we formed Junglekeelers
• Junglekeepers protects over 117,000 acres of jungle packed with tens of millions of plants and animals. We keep the forest safe.
• We are 1/3 of the way to protecting 300,000 acres and creating a national park that would save the forest, the river, the animals and the tribes. (We CAN do this!!)
• If this road comes through we lose everything. The project dies. A great jungle turned to ashes. We have 50,000 acres we can protect tomorrow if we had the funding. So please share. Please become part of the Junglekeepers donor program on our website.

PEJaipur’s green lungs are crying for help. The city’s last wild forest — Dol Ka Badh — is being erased to make way for malls, hotels and the Government’s ‘Rajasthan Mandapam’.
2,500 trees, 80+ species of birds and wildlife, and the city’s clean air — all are at risk. The same politicians who opposed construction on this forest while in the opposition are now silent when in power.
Citizens protesting to save this naturally-grown forest in the heart of Jaipur are being detained by the police. The ‘Let Jaipur Breathe’ movement has organised protests on May 31 and June 1, calling on citizens to join in large numbers.
From Hyderabad to Jaipur — forests are falling and ignorance is rising. The cost of this ‘development’ isn’t just nature, it’s our future.
