GOOD BASEBALLS ONLY for pitch grip videos 🤣 I’ll be the first to admit that I struggle getting the side spin from an over the top slot (12:30-1:30 range) - side bar 👉 really was impressed watching Buehler in the World Series throw his sweeper AND 12-6 Curveball.. stupid impressive. The benefit of throwing from different slots is not having to manipulate the wrist as much from a single arm slot to create a specific spin on the baseball because, for me, I’ve struggled to grasp a lot of the ‘wrist cues’ when throwing. How to throw the sweeper. The sweeper is a class of breaking Ball that has a ton of horizontal movement. What makes it different than a regular slider is that it has more horizontal movement and that it gets a lot of this movement from seam shifted wake. This comes from the way you grip it.
