KEthe most romantic dress I’ve made to date 🌹
I made this dress last night and the music that @tintofmintpatterns has in the pattern tutorial made me feel like I should be in a French bistro sipping a cappuccino with peonies in a tote, and the mood really carried over into today.
this pattern is (#isabeldress by @tintofmintpatterns) GORGEOUS. it’s so flattering and makes me feel really beautiful, and it’s entirely French seamed - literally zero serging which never happens for me! I made a size UK 10 (US 6) with no mods other than adding a slit.
this linen was gifted from @gkfashionfabrics and the quality is gorgeous. It washed up beautifully, sews like a dream, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at its lack of creasing today as I’ve worn it.
I’m so mad I’ve been sewing all this time and never made any @tintofmintpatterns… now I need all of them 🥲

I saw it a couple of months ago and the outfits have been in my mind rent free! I loved (LOVED!) all of the outfits and styling from the 60s. If you’re looking for a movie to watch, I highly recommend it for the fashunn and dreamy vacations in Europe 🫶🏼
Top is a vintage 90s pattern from New Look 6140, View 3. Slight mods: raised the armcyse by 2” as it was initially too low and I wanted more coverage around the side bust.
Pants is the trusted #remitrousers by @tintofmintpatterns! Was feeling super playful when I was making the pants and I thought to add floral back pocket panels (& also used the floral fabric as contrasting binding for the neckline and hem for the pants) for a little extra touch and I love how it turned out!

JEUne année compliquée, je n’ai malheureusement pas pu coudre tous les projets qui me faisaient envie…
J’ai commencé énormément de projets couture que je n’ai pas eu l’occasion de terminer en 2024 étant donné que je me suis séparée de mon ex-conjoint, que j’ai dû déménager et que mes affaires de couture se sont retrouvées dans des cartons pendant un long moment 📦
Impossible de coudre mais j’ai profité de ce temps pour me concentrer sur moi-même et mes envies et j’ai hâte de revenir par ici avec plein de projets couture (et bien d’autres choses). Stay tuned 💕
2024, pour moi, ce fut la prise de conscience qu’il fallait que ma vie évolue différemment. Cela m’a demandée beaucoup de courage et aujourd’hui je suis enfin épanouie avec l’envie de coudre, tricoter, produire des contenus et réfléchir à plein de nouveaux formats 🙏
