STAY:
• A modern, luxury, dog-friendly cabin rental makes for the idyllic stay! Check out @thegreenlotusjourney cabin, the Nanta-Haven for the best place to stay! Hot tub, private yoga offerings, incredible views (go check out our last post for a fun thing about this place 🎉)
EAT:
• We love finding incredible Hawaiian food along our travels, especially with Ash being Hawaiian 🌺 and we were SO excited to visit @thericewagon a true, authentic gem of classic Hawaiian dishes with a personalized touch! The loco moco and ahi tuna are a must 🙌
• There are some fun coffee spots here and a couple of our favorites are @cardinalcoffee_nantahala and @bryson.bakery ☕️ Cardinal Coffee is an amazing, pet-friendly coffee shop with an extensive drink menu, a free library, and cute handmade things you can take home! Bryson Bakery is right in downtown BC and had incredible pastries and drinks and is connected to MRKT on Square for some fun local shopping too!! 🥐
DO:
• Head over to @greatsmokynps and visit The Road To Nowhere 🌉 this is a bizarre stop, but so unique and the echo in this tunnel leading to nowhere is out of this world! Not going to lie, it was a tiny bit spooky at first, but fear not…there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s a neat experience.
• An hour from Bryson City is a show-stopper @biltmoreestate 🏰 this is such a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. You can visit and tour the house, but this trip we decided to roam the gardens with the dogs since the grounds are pet-friendly 🌸 such a beautiful place to explore and make sure to visit Antler Village too for some complimentary wine tasting, fun shopping, and most importantly to see and pet their amazing animals! 🐑
