Choose the number of clusters (K): Decide how many groups you want to divide your data into. 2. Initialize centroids: Randomly select K data points as the initial centroids (center of each cluster). 3. Assign points to clusters: Assign each data point to the nearest centroid (using a distance measure like Euclidean distance). 4. Update centroids: Recalculate the centroid of each cluster by averaging the positions of all points in that cluster. 5. Repeat: Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the centroids don’t change much (i.e., the algorithm converges). Real-Life Example: Imagine you have a bunch of shopping customers and you want to divide them into 3 groups based on their spending habits.
