HOWallpapering is actually a pretty easy DIY if you have the right methods and tools. Here @kaitmadden shares her 3 top tips with us…
1. I find that pasting the wall is so much easier than pasting the paper, because there’s less mess and you don’t have to set up a pasting table. I love @grahamandbrown wallpaper, which is what I used here because it’s paste the wall, but you can also use this method with any nonwoven wallpaper! Many companies make nonwoven wallpapers these days, so this variety is super easy to find.
2. Before you try and hang a wallpaper panel, find your repeat, and then cut the wallpaper a couple of inches below where the wallpaper will end. A panel is a lot easier to work with than a whole roll.
3. Change your cutting blades often! I change mine every 2-3 panels. Trimming wallpaper with a full blade makes the job so much harder (and more dangerous).
