spent a good chunk of last night rediscovering music and coding little sounds that would fit right into an indie game soundtrack. i’m no professional, but the fact that code doubles as a creative medium is genuinely one of my favorite things about it. my first attempts were pretty rough (dissonant and forgettable) but this one actually sounds like it could work as loading screen music, so here it is.
reminder: try new things for the joy of it, not just to reach some endpoint.

🪽Is it a web app? This is a native desktop app built with Electron that works on any system with the tradeoff that it’s heavier than some platform specific approaches
🎧How did you load in the songs? I loaded the .mp3 files of the songs into my asset folder.
🎨 How do you ensure that your final developed product is consistent with your design? I like using the Figma auto-layout & dev mode combo to ensure I can fully replicate my design in code.

🧠 𝗧𝗼 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄:
Kotlin = the programming language. Clean and similar to Swift from iOS
Android Studio = the code editor. When it stops workind —> Invalidate Cache and Restart 😅
💰 𝗧𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲:
Mac or Windows Laptop
Developer Account = you can create one for free, but to publish an app you’ll have to purchase the $25 dev account. Still better than Apple’s $99 / year.
