VRIn 2015, on the very first day of college, he saw me for the first time, just a girl in a simple blue top. And in that moment, he knew. He says it was love at first sight, something unexplainable, as if his heart just whispered, ‘It’s her.’

KAWe were never the lucky ones. We were the persistent ones. ✨💫
When Rhys & I met we bonded immediately over wanting a different kind of life for ourselves, we dreamed of travelling the world together, creating a life we didn’t know if it even existed but we wanted to try. We didn’t even know the exacts of what we wanted it to look like but we just knew we wanted it to be different from what we knew.
For the first 5 years we had multiple try’s and failures of moving & trying different businesses, getting different jobs to make ends meet all whilst still holding that dream in our hearts ❤️ not ever knowing if we’d ever ‘make it’ but we tried everyday anyway . . It even got to a point where we were travelling in Thailand , had almost no money left and lived off mung beans, beer & eggs 🤢 and had to get a cheap flight to France 48 hour bus home with our last pennies.
People thought we were bonkers when we told them our next plan , next adventure , next new business but we did it anyway.
Things didn’t always work out & it was hard. We had to adjust our lives over and over again. We almost even ended our relationship 💔Starting again feels difficult when you can easily choose the comfort of staying the same. But we just couldn’t stay the same. There was something inside us telling us we were destined for MORE.
I always believe if you have a dream, it’s put there for a reason, not just to be a dream but to make into your reality.
We kept going and started seeing small successes but never anything long lasting.
The past few years we’ve stuck at it & both build businesses we are so proud of , businesses that allow us to be anywhere in the world and work in our own time & give us the opportunity and freedom we didn’t know that existed before.
Whilst I think we will continue to grow & change and evolve as people & probably move around some more for now we’ve found our next home 🏡
We’ve just signed a 12 month lease on an apartment in the most idillic spot , it feels so surreal & we couldn’t be more grateful we never gave up. This was something we honestly couldn’t have imagined .
