INAttention 11+ exam takers! Today, we’re here to talk about interior angles of polygons. As you know, a polygon is a closed shape with three or more straight sides. When we draw a line segment from one vertex of a polygon to another, it creates an interior angle. The sum of all the interior angles in a polygon is given by the formula (n-2) x 180, where n is the number of sides of the polygon.
Knowing how to calculate interior angles is an important skill for the 11+ exams. It helps in solving geometry problems, understanding geometric shapes, and recognizing patterns. So, make sure to brush up on your knowledge of polygons and their properties.
Remember, the sum of the interior angles of a triangle is always 180 degrees. For example, an equilateral triangle has three equal angles of 60 degrees each, while an isosceles triangle has two equal angles and one different angle. A quadrilateral has four interior angles, and a regular polygon with n sides has n interior angles of the same size.
Don’t forget to practice drawing and labeling polygons, and use the formula to find the sum of their interior angles. With enough practice and dedication, you’ll master this concept and ace your 11+ exams.

NAWhile asana is a beautiful practice of yoga that’s just not the ONLY thing. There is so much more to. More than anything yoga made me mentally stronger. Mentally more at ease. I got that with understanding the philosophy more that’s what changed my thinking and security in myself. It didint take one day, In fact it took years to even be able to accept and love myself.
Ive been doing yoga for 11 years now. And I’m still a work In Progressbut I’ve come so far.
So I’ve been where you have. Believe me. The only thing that got me going were the small things. Start small. Miracles will happen.

AMWhen preparing for the 11+, jumping straight into past papers isn’t effective and it can sometimes be counterproductive. Preparation begins with mastering core skills in comprehension and creative writing.
With comprehension, focus on key skills such as: inference, retrieval, vocabulary in context, summarising, and point and evidence.
With creative writing, focus on key skills such as: characterisation, descriptive language, ambitious vocabulary and structure.
In my lessons, we build these foundations first. Only once students feel confident using these skills do we move on to timed test strategies.
