UNYesterday we had our third event of UNTW! 🌍🇺🇳
At this local meeting we discussed geopolitical tensions and the UN’s role in an increasingly turbulent world, and how rivalry between major powers affects the UN’s ability to act.
It was also a great chance to meet the board, get to know the association and talk with other students interested in international politics.

You can now apply through your National Youth Council to become the next 🇪🇺European Union Youth Delegate to the United Nations!🇺🇳
❓How?
You need to send your application to your EU Member State National Youth Council, considering the modalities that they have agreed. You can consult the @youth_forum website for the list of NYCs.
❓What do you need?
🔅your CV
🔅short motivation letter
❓What requirements?
🔅 Be a citizen of an EU member state
🔅Be under 30 at the time of application
🔅Be able to devote approx. 40 days per year to the role
🔅Be able to advocate for youth rights
🔅Be interested in IR, diplomacy, Human Rights, and EU/UN activities
🔅Be available to travel to New York and other locations at least three times per year.
🔅Have excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
❗️National Youth Councils will have until April 17th to nominate their candidates.
My advice is that you should hurry and check if your NYC has started the selection. if not, reach out to them to confirm internal deadlines and the selection process.
