The set includes two rings of different lengths that can be used individually or combined, giving flexibility depending on your needs. By reducing the minimum focusing distance, these extension tubes allow you to capture small subjects with greater detail, effectively turning many standard lenses into macro-capable tools while preserving their original optical quality. Magnification varies depending on the focal length of the lens, so you can easily experiment with different results across your setup. The adapter supports full camera functionality, including autofocus and exposure modes. For best performance, the focal length of your lens should be greater than the length of the extension tube being used (10mm, 16mm, or 26mm combined). 1. Contrary to popular belief while Sony’s autofocus is amazing after 6,000 pictures taken (track, soccer, baseball) Canon’s autofocus is faster and sticky-er 2. Sony’s color science is awesome and I actually prefer it over some of the photos I took on my Canon. (Specially the pictures that I posted shooting track at golden hour) 3. Sony’s 70-200 2.8 is so sharp it will cut your soul and maybe sharper than my 300mm 2.8 and that hurts my soul to say 😭 4. The extra 5.1 mega pixels on the A1 2 is actually a difference maker when cropping for sports photos. I can push deeper into the photos and retain sharpness and detail 5. The uncompressed raw files are 2 times the size as my canon files which is stupid. Yes I know I can go lossless but geeze you will fill up your hard drives quick. 6. Overall I had a super fun time shooting on the A1 2 and huge shoutout to @jbmcdougall67 for allowing me to use his camera for the weekend. It’s a great camera, a real flagship BUT… I ain’t switching to Sony any time soon I like the R5 2 better 😂 #canon #sony #sportsphotographer #sportsphotography

Here are 5 different options you can do that won't break the bank. 💡Lens Diopter - these go on the front of your lens, allowing you to still use autofocus, and unlike extension tubes, these don't require more light 💡Reverse Lens - take your lens off the camera and hand hold it or use a dedicated reverse mount, can give an unique depth of field 💡Extension Tube - stackable tubes that go between your lens and camera, the more you increase the distance of the lens from your camera the more light you need 💡Diopter + Extension Tube - stackable combo to get real close while still being able to use autofocus 💡Toilet paper roll - even cheaper version of an extension tube, works in a pinch but can be hard to hold and may get dust on sensor 🔖 Save and share the video so you can always com back to it!
