This isn’t accidental. it’s by design. Noticing a theme here? it’s not just harmful—it’s dangerous. In times like these, when yoga could be a tool for liberation, justice, and collective healing, we see it stripped down, commodified, and sold back to us as nothing more than a wellness trend. Sometimes, the weight of this reality is overwhelming—so I dance it out. 🔥 But here’s the real question: Why are these voices missing—both metaphorically and literally? The answer? Colonialism, capitalism, and white supremacy have worked hard to extract and distort yoga’s meaning. Yet, yoga is so much more than this narrow portrayal.
