VEI’ve been hyping up Delaware quite a bit, right? Keep saying I love this place so much. 😩 Well, here’s a look at one of the towns - #bethanybeach
I would say this is the prettiest of the towns. As a feeling, I am the most relaxed here. I am smiling the most here. It would be amazing to stay here bc it looks like a postcard.
(Dairy free people - Maureen’s is the only place that sells our ice cream. I’m going to save you some time. Visited 5 spots before I found one)
Dewey feels like the 80s. It’s a little old school. More surfer. More lax. There are more bars and cheaper restaurants. It’s also the beach with the least rules. (We are cabana owners) I LOVE Dewey. No stress.
Lewes feels like Main Street USA to me. It’s a few blocks of nice stores and restaurants. The strip isn’t near the beach or at least I don’t think it is??
Rehoboth is the main hub. Blocks and blocks and blocks of action. It has a great boardwalk with a little carnival. Lots of things to do. But there are so many people. It’s not quaint in any way. This is the main attraction. TBH I feel like we end up here at least once a day lol.
It all depends on what you like.
We usually spend one day in each town. So, for us, it doesn’t really matter where we stay. We will see all of them no matter what.
And if this isn’t a proper representation of these areas, please know I’m not a professional travel writer. I’m just a mom with three fighting kids and a husband who never seems to notice any of it.
But in the video, I think you can at least tell what you would get if you visited. A slowed down, pretty escape from chaos.
