Step inside the ”Cocoondo” - a Danish-Filipino infused architectural home that embraces Danish design while being deeply rooted to the Filipino culture 😍 Inside the condo you immediately notice the hand-crafted “banig”-inspired ceiling, which creates a feeling of shelteredness through its wavy and protective cocoon-like shape. Additionally, the ceiling catches the warm lighting in a uniquely playful way, creating a cozy ambience inside. Then there’s the bedroom - natural daylight is invited in, and to maintain the feeling of Scandinavian expansive space, the bed is kept low to create an illusion of a higher ceiling. To top it off, the choice of interior decor is a celebration of our two cultures. The artworks, coffee table, paintings, and ‘noodle’ chairs are designed by Filipino artists, while most large furniture is from Danish BoConcept.
