Watch me fail to crush an empty soda can. But with “magic”! By magic I really mean a 25lb weight and industrial adhesives but the end result looks pretty good in my opinion! Could you tell how I did it in the original video? (Check my reels to see it and other behind the scenes videos!) This video highlights an important part of the filmmaking process, mistakes. The reason amazing things can happen in movies is thanks to the ability to try and fail repeatedly, selecting only the shots that tell the story. To crush a can with “magic” I’ve gone through a lot of cans, trying different glues and other ways to securely attach a heavy weight to the inside of the can. Most of them didn’t work, but you only need one good shot to make the movie! Be sure to follow me to see more videos about filmmaking, prop making, cosplay and special effects. I have a lot more shots planned for Frieren’s staff and I want to show aspiring filmmakers and story tellers what I already know about filmmaking and how to learn new techniques to tell their stories! #propmaking #frieren #specialeffects #anime #cosplay
