Çok güzel ve profesyonel bir şekilde yapıldığını düşünüyorum. Karakterlerin arkaplan hikayeleri, dar alanda yapılmış çevik çekimler ve oyuncuların rollerini adeta yaşamaları… Bu filmle ilgili her şeyi çok beğenmiş durumdayım.   Filmi izledikten sonra birde dizisi olduğunu gördüm. Dizi, filmin devamı mı öncesi mi yoksa uzatılmış versiyonu mu henüz bilmiyorum. İzlemedim. Fakat en kısa sürede izlemeyi planlıyorum. #boilingpoint

Boiling Point was filmed as a single continuous take, meaning the entire roughly 90-minute movie was shot without any visible cuts, creating the feeling of being inside a real, uninterrupted restaurant service. Cinematographer Matthew Lewis and director Philip Barantini rehearsed scenes extensively and coordinated the cast and crew so the camera could move fluidly through the space and capture all the action live. Production initially planned to film eight full takes over four days, but because of the COVID-19 lockdown the shoot was shortened to two days, resulting in four complete takes and the third take was chosen as the final version used in the film. Boiling Point is a British drama that follows head chef Andy Jones as he navigates one of the most chaotic nights of his career at a busy London restaurant, dealing with personal struggles, staff tensions, health inspectors, difficult diners and unexpected crises all in real time. Shot as a single continuous take without cuts, the film places viewers right inside the frenetic kitchen and dining room environment, amplifying the pressure and emotional intensity of every moment. This immersive one-shot approach helps Boiling Point feel immediate and gripping, offering a visceral look at the demands of hospitality work and the fragile balance of leadership under stress. When the pressure finally boils over This scene from Boiling Point (2021) feels close to home if you’ve ever worked in hospitality, or even just witnessed a team hit breaking point. From the makers of the hit Netflix series Adolescence, the whole film unfolds in one continuous shot, so as you can imagine, the tension’s high from the get-go and it never once lets up. It’s relentless, but engrossing just the same. What I find so brilliant about the film is how it dances between perspectives. Everyone’s consumed by pressure, and in that chaos people start overlooking each other’s struggles. In this scene especially, we as the audience are privileged to see both sides, which makes it all the more heartbreaking when they clash under all that emotion and miscommunication. The stress is palpable, but you can still understand where each person’s coming from. Carly’s monologue, played here by Vinette Robinson, is electrifying. She’s saying what so many in the industry wish they could say, voicing the frustration and disillusionment felt by countless hospitality workers. Overwork, being underappreciated, poor management decisions. It becomes a kind of searing commentary on the systemic issues in the industry, where dedication and hard work often go unnoticed or undervalued. It’s a reminder of the real human cost behind the scenes of the meals we go out and enjoy. Boiling Point (2021), directed by Philip Barantini and led by Stephen Graham alongside Robinson and Hannah Walters, drops you right into the reality of a kitchen under pressure. If you like The Bear, you will LOVE this. And even a brief stint working in hospitality (something I feel everyone should experience) will make you realise this film isn’t an exaggeration.
