Here’s what changed…
This student messaged me on Saturday:
“Well, I owe you dinner. Just tell me what ya want…”
He went from a 7 handicap to a 2.6 in just two months.
Here’s what he said made the difference:
1. Putting:
Stopped trying to make long putts — now he focuses on lagging into a 6-foot circle. Then practices making inside 6 feet.
2. Club Selection:
Instead of full swings, he takes an extra club and swings at 75%. Better contact, tighter left/right misses, and precise distance.
3. Course Management:
Plays away from trouble. Trap short? Go long. Danger behind? Play it safe. He takes risk out of play.
4. Clubface Awareness:
The tennis racquet visualization helped him truly “see” what the clubface was doing through impact. That changed everything.
No magic swing change. Just smarter thinking, clearer visuals, and steady adjustments.
That’s the good stuff.

BEMain dari teebox merah hole 3 dan terakhir. Gw selalu berpikiran par 5 itu yang paling akan ngaruh ke scorenya kalau dr teebox merah tp tergantung juga dari akurasi long iron kalian. Sejujurnya gw jarang sih mukul long iron 😅 biasanya kalau ga hybrid langsung short iron. Dan yang lebih penting lagi adalah short game, bukan cuma chipping, ptiching, bunker, dan putting! Intinya experiment main dari merah ini menarik bngt dan menurut gw seharusnya banyak orang lebih sering dari teebox merah. Krn untuk beginner/high handicapper jd bisa belajar approach shot pake short irons dan control distancenya. Teebox merah mungkin di cap sebagai “teebox cewe” tp menurut gw sih siapapun mau main dr situ sah2 aja. Dari teebox manapun break 80 ga gampang kok 😅 #bgplaygolf
