EFLast year, I pushed a motion advocating for the inclusion of Sign Language in our curriculum.
Today, I’m reminding us why that conversation cannot die.
True inclusion means communication for everyone, not just for those who can hear.
I do not know how to sign yet.
But I am choosing to learn.
And I want to lead by example.
If you are a sign language interpreter, deaf educator, or advocate, I am openly inviting collaboration. Let’s build a community that signs online and offline.
Let’s learn together. Let’s make access normal.
Inclusion is not charity. It is responsibility.
