I defo find that sometimes looking at a clean unpainted mini can help me visualise how I wanna paint a minis maybe more than seeing a painted version and I absolutely LOVE these new faces, especially the shield captains can't wait to paint her up :')

TILet’s paint the whole squad of Adeptus Custodes Custodian Werden in 3 hours. The simplest part is golden armor, we use any gold primer spray or airbrushing, put over wash and then highlight with gold again to rest or shine and silver for bright. Custodes have many small elements we need to pay attention, like blue stones, blades, gloves, weapon and other small stuff. The last part is cloak, that we can do easily with your basic color mixing with black and going from dark to light with 3-4 levels accenting on raised elements.

LSJust some commission work in progress I’ve been dying to show off.
This build is a fusion of two client visions: Halo 3 Hayabusa on a MKIV core and a Warhammer Custodes hybrid all stitched into one brutal suit of armor.
The sword and energy daggers are fully modular with hidden magnetic mounts, so everything locks in clean and swaps out in seconds.
Feels good to be back in the shop again, dialing in details and pushing each kit a little further than the last.
