THAlternative to LPG: Dimethyl Ether — Major success after 20 years of research by NCL scientists
Scientists at the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) have achieved a major breakthrough after nearly 20 years of research by successfully producing Dimethyl Ether (DME) as an alternative fuel to LPG.
According to the scientists, this gas can be produced from biomass and can be liquefied at a pressure of around seven bar, similar to LPG. Their research shows that Dimethyl Ether has excellent combustion properties and can generate
more heat energy than LPG.
An important advantage highlighted by the researchers is that DME burns cleanly and does not produce soot, making it a more environmentally friendly fuel option.
Amid the backdrop of tensions and conflict in the Middle East, which often affects global fuel supplies, this development brings a ray of hope for alternative energy sources.
However, for this technology to be used widely, large-scale industrial plants will need to be established for mass production of Dimethyl Ether.

🥔 Ingrédients :
100g de carottes
100g de pommes de terre
1 échalote
1 c. à soupe de farine
huile d’olive
👨🍳 Préparation :
1️⃣ Éplucher les carottes et les pommes de terre, couper les pommes de terre et les cuire à la vapeur 20 minutes environ. Râper finement les carottes.
2️⃣ Émincer finement l’échalote et la faire revenir dans une poêle avec un filet d’huile d’olive.
3️⃣ Une fois cuites, écraser les pommes de terre en purée avec une fourchette. Incorporer les carottes râpées + l’échalote cuite + la farine.
4️⃣ Former des boules avec la préparation en tassant bien entre les mains.
5️⃣ Cuire à feu doux dans une poêle pendant 4-5 minutes en les retournant régulièrement.
❄️ Conservation : 2 jours au réfrigérateur.

When nothing feels guaranteed on this journey, I know I can count on them. They aren’t here to get rich, to be greedy, or to leave families reeling. They understand PKU—and they show it in action.
The amount our insurance says we may be responsible for is staggering. Thousands of dollars. Tens of thousands of dollars. For a treatment recommended for life to protect my son’s brain and ability to learn.
This isn’t optional.
It isn’t a luxury.
It’s a medical necessity.
And yet, our insurance claims they “don’t have enough proof.”
Proof exists. Peer-reviewed research exists. Clinical guidelines exist. PKU treatment standards exist. But let’s be honest—these claims aren’t being thoughtfully reviewed. They’re being filtered by algorithms.
An insurance representative even told me:
“It looks like the first half of the month is auto-approving, and the second half is being denied—almost like it’s being caught and stopped.”

MIbâtonnets brocoli pdt fromage 🥦🥔🧀
les finger food parfaites pour débuter la dme ✨
sans œuf et sans farine, simples et efficaces
à proposer au déjeuner avec l’ajout d’une protéine ou au dîner, ils se suffisent à eux même
le brocolis apporte vitamine C, vitamine K et des fibres
la pdt des glucides, potassium et vitamine B6
ingrédients :
• 100 g de brocolis cuits
• 80 g de pdt cuites
• 1 poignée de fromage râpé (ici cheddar)
1/ cuire le brocolis et les pdt à la vapeur, quand c’est cuit laisser refroidir et laisser s’échapper la vapeur pour enlever l’humidité
2/ écraser le tout avec le fromage râpé jusqu’à obtenir une texture homogène
3/ avec les mains former des bâtonnets
4/ déposer sur une plaque recouverte de papier cuisson, vaporiser d’huile et enfourner au four ou air fryer
👶 dès 6 mois
⏱️ à 190 degrés, 10 min au air fryer ou environ 20/25 minutes au four
❄️ possibilité de congeler 2/3 mois, réchauffer au four directement environ 15 minutes sans décongélation préalable
texture fondante et facile à écraser entre les gencives, format adapté aux petites mains et idéal pour travailler la préhension dès le début de la diversification 🤍

EMLa DME sur les réseaux sociaux VS dans la vraie vie 😅
Parce qu’on voit beaucoup de belles grosses assiettes de DME sur les réseaux sociaux, mais que la réalité est souvent bien loin de ça!
La DME c’est super, mais c’est aussi salissant, il y a des repas qui sont mangés au complet et d’autres boudés et jetés par terre en entier… Ça peut être décourageant parfois!
N’oublions pas que les « dégâts », c’est aussi notre enfant qui explore différents goûts et textures, qui développe ses habiletés, qui respecter ses signaux de faim/satiété, qui apprend à manger ❤️

DM🐈 Today at DME, we met Fedos the Cat — Hero of Incredible Journey Home
Fedos got lost on his way from Ulan‑Ude, Republic of Buryatia, to Moscow and was considered missing for six days. The railway car where he had hidden was reattached to different trains several times, and the cat ended up thousands of kilometres away from home.
Volunteers and concerned people from various regions joined the search efforts. Eventually, Fedos was found at the Tynda depot — alive, but very tired. He was then transported to Neryungri, Republic of Yakutia, where his owner met him.
✈️ After that, the cat and his owner flew to Moscow — and today, at Domodedovo Airport, his owner, volunteers, and everyone who had been worried about Fedos over these days had been anxiously waiting for him.
We congratulate the owners on their long‑awaited reunion with their beloved pet!
