IRThe NEW eTransit Custom ⚡️🔋
I recently teamed up with @gates_ford in Harlow to test drive the New All-Electric E-Transit Custom. Up to 209 miles range, with up to £5,000 government grants available. Gates have been around for over 100 years, I’ve bought my last two vans from them and had a really good customer experience, they offer the full passenger and commercial Ford vehicle lineup.
I had this van for two weeks to test out and I can honestly say that I didn’t want to give it back. It was an absolute joy to drive and I was very surprised. My last two vans have been Ford customs but this electric one with the new shape and improved dashboard was lovely, and then you’ve got the fact that it’s electric, it’s fast, it’s quiet and I averaged about 170miles per 100% charge while I had it, that was partially loaded 🤓
From what I’ve heard from speaking to people is that if you get a good electric tariff and charge the van up at home over night, the savings are huge. If you have any experiences of this I’d love to hear in the comments below ⬇️
If you are out and about and need some charge, I charged it from 18% up to 90% in 40mins on a fast charger, I used that time to scroll through social media 😂
When it’s time for me to get a new Van, I will definitely be looking towards one of these! I really did like it and everyone who came to see me while I had it was impressed too.
