Just finished this piece on @flickartai What excites me most about AI tools right now is how much they free filmmakers hands. Ideas that once required big crews, complex production, or huge budgets can now be explored in completely new ways. This reel was created over the course of two days inside Flick - experimenting, building, and pushing visuals in directions that would have been extremely difficult just a few years ago Flick films even showcased at Cinequest Film Festival opening night! Really curious to see where this wave of tools takes storytelling next

Since I switched to AI production of @fthisplanet I was mesmerized with the shots I can create never leaving my sofa 😁 but it still glitches at unexpected moments. Not surprisingly, my character can't write. She is quite unwilling to break things. And she can't open a window 🤷🏼‍♀️😅 But the funniest thing: my initial script was written to AI generate this particular scene, but it doesn't work 😂 So I have to actually print the letter I need and fold it into a paper aeroplane I need and maybe even film how it launches into the air. #filmmaker #shortfilm #scifi #aifilmmaking #director

The biggest cost in filmmaking used to be production. Locations Actors Equipment Post-production Now most of that can be replaced by a workflow. New video models are starting to blur the line between traditional film production and AI generation. Tools like Kling 3 are pushing that shift much faster than people expected. You can start with a single image, build a scene around it, animate it, and layer in sound design without leaving one workspace. That doesn’t replace storytelling or directing. But it dramatically lowers the barrier to actually producing cinematic visuals. Which means the people who win won’t be the ones with the biggest budgets… It’ll be the ones who can move the fastest creatively.
