Explained: People are going to hate me for saying this, but I meet so many people who use the gym or physical fitness for their mental fitness. It helps yes. But it won’t solve what’s going on in your mind. Here are the signs explained: 1. You train hard but feel constantly stressed Your body recovers, but your mind never really shuts off. 2. Exercise is your only coping mechanism If you can’t work out, your mood crashes instead of adjusting. 3. You’re disciplined with workouts but chaotic elsewhere Gym routine = solid. Sleep, boundaries, emotions = all over the place. 4. You feel irritable or impatient despite being “healthy” Small things set you off even though you eat well and stay active. 5. You avoid stillness and struggle to sit with your thoughts Silence, rest days, or quiet moments make you uncomfortable. 6. You tie your self-worth to performance Missing a workout or having a bad session feels like a personal failure. 8. You push through exhaustion instead of listening to it Mentally burnt out, but you pride yourself on “grinding anyway.” 8. You look great but feel empty or unfulfilled Strong body, low sense of meaning or joy. Mental fitness deserves its own training!! And arguably it’s the thing that will define how you live your life.
