... We were greeted with smiles, laughter - and a whole lot of slime!
Laura, Vanessa, and the team (plus a brilliant bunch of kids - credit to all you parents and carers!) had the place buzzing with activities. Think slime-making, slime bubble-blowing, floating water experiments, arts and crafts, forest school adventures, and classic field games - the kind of holiday fun that leaves no room for boredom.
It’s clear Laura and her team pour their hearts into creating a safe, happy space where children can learn, explore, and enjoy themselves, and from what we saw, they’re nailing it.
Laura loves spending time in HD8 because of its supportive community and the huge variety of quality, local independents. She gave special shout-outs to two Denby Dale favourites:
