If everyone says “diversify into emerging markets,” you argue “double down on core dominance.” Bold and wrong beats safe and right. Stop using AI. Judges have seen hundreds of ChatGPT presentations with identical insights and structure. They spot it instantly. Be original. 2. STRUCTURE YOUR BOLDNESS A bold thesis without frameworks is just opinion. Use Porter’s Five Forces, BCG Matrix, or create your own to back your contrarian view. Judges need three things: differentiated perspective, logical framework backing it, crystal clear structure. Brilliant insights scattered randomly across slides lose to structured mediocrity every time. 3. TAKE CALCULATED RISKS 10,000 teams. 1 winner. Playing safe means finishing 50th, which is the same as last. Take the riskiest defensible approach. Mock Stock competitions example: most build balanced portfolios.
