1. Hair condition : Make sure that you are not having severe hairfall in case you are planning to get this treatment. As this can cause more hairfall. If you are not, go ahead with it.
2. Set your expectations right : This is not a protein treatment that will add protein to your hair like how most salons sell it to you. It’s a straightening treatment similar to keratin & smoothening but less harmful. So there will be some damage yes!
3. Quality of salon : Make sure that you are getting it done from a trusted salon. Not just any random ones. They can literally ruin your hair.
4. Cost : Mine costed me 10K! I know it’s higher on price side. But i was okay to pay a higher price if it meant not taking risk with my hair.
5. Duration : The duration of a hair botox lasts mostly till 6 months. Again depending on what products you are using. I was using professional hair products like olaplex. Mine is about to be 6 months & they still look good & manageable.
This was my experience with the hair botox & i don’t claim to be an expert in it. Some people can have different experiences.
