JAAmerican actress Myha’la Herrold, best known for her breakout role as Harper Stern in the HBO/BBC finance drama Industry, touched down in Jamaica for the first time ever, and the moment was overwhelming.
In a TikTok video posted today, the rising star thanked Delta Airlines after “Jamaica Love” by @busysignal_turf started playing over the aircraft speakers as the plane descended.
Herrold, whose father is Jamaican, said she “barely touched the ground and I’m already a mess”, sharing that returning to the land of her heritage brought her to tears.
The Bodies Bodies Bodies and Leave the World Behind actress told fans she has dreamed of visiting the island her family comes from, and the musical welcome was “the nail in the coffin.”
