WAThis is my new DW drum set. This video was filmed by my drum tech, Randy Walker , my first time sitting behind the kit. It was recorded with an iPhone microphone. We’re using Remo Gels to muffle the toms and snare drum just a bit, because the sound is so Huge , and with full microphones turned on, it will be even bigger.
In my 54-year career as a musician, I have never used plexiglass shields, and I don’t intend to start now.😉
I want to thank everyone at DW who was involved in creating this beautiful piece of Art Masterpiece.

The graphic design on the front bass drum head was created by Masayuki Funatsu from Japan, and Remo brought it to life by making the drumhead. I also want to thank “Vintage Logos” for creating an alternate version of the front head that I will probably be using in the near future.
