This is a terrifying escalation of the hateful rhetoric the far-right has been pushing for far too long. We cannot let them divide us. We must act to address this extremism at its roots. My heart goes out to all those who experienced and were impacted by the attack, and my gratitude to the rally organisers who worked to keep those gathered safe.
