The first stay at the Hello Kitty themed loft was such a hit that my kids were excited to return to the themed loft again this holiday. Our second time staying in Sunway Grid Residences and we continued to be surprised by their different configurations! Some key highlights that made us return: - 6mins drive away from Legoland that costed less than 10 ringgit via grab - Water dispenser that made drinking water accessible, and equipped us with ice cool water for legoland trip - Movies and play both available in-house, no need to exit premise if adults want to have a slow night - Able to explore different themes and layout each time we stay We are still pretty much ‘hotel’ people than residences, but our kids always say yes to @srhome.smartready loft without having second thoughts. SAVE THIS‼️ The largest petting zoo in JB just opened earlier this month, but should you visit it? I don’t know what’s with petting zoos and animal cafes in JB, there always seem to be a new one popping up all the time. We’ve been to a couple in Malaysia before, and tbh, we aren’t big fans of how the animals are treated in these places. 🤔 Although there’s the usual exotic species in this one, at least the space is huge and each of them have their own open-air enclosure that is separated from the crowd. They also have attendants round the clock to manage, so you don’t get a bunch of noisy kids manhandling the animals. The petting zoo is split into three parts - the open area houses animals like alpaca, prairie dogs, raccoons, fennec foxes, hedgehogs; then there’s the caged one that holds birds like parrots and ducks; and lastly, a room that houses all the reptiles. 🐍 There’s also an indoor dining area, where customers can dine or rest at, away from the animals. Compared to the other ones we’ve seen, this is definitely a lot better managed with the animals’ welfare in mind. But we still aren’t comfortable with how easy it is to open these ‘exotic animal cafes or zoos’ in JB. Lune24 – a dreamy glasshouse café surrounded by a garden with fairytale vibes. The menu is small but charming, with brunch-style plates, cakes, and drinks 🌸 4.
