NOHonestly, not a fan 🤷🏼♀️
While I AM a fan of electrolytes to help deeply hydrate and provide essential minerals, they are not all “healthy” or “clean.”
Here are my main issues with LMNT:
❌Hidden maltodextrin: this is a sweetener with a high glycemic index, usually made from corn, wheat, soy, rice, or tapioca. It might impact blood sugar for some, but it can also cause gut inflammation and impact the microbiome.
❌Inorganic stevia: this is likely processed with hexane and residue can be left behind in foods (n-hexane). The composition can vary based on the petroleum used and the processing. Ultimately, n-hexane can be left behind which is known to be neurotoxic and hormone-disrupting.
❌Natural flavors: this could include hundreds of undisclosed ingredients including chemical additives like preservatives, solvents, and others that can alter the taste and keep you coming back for more.
🙅♀️And other brands have unfortunately tested positive for PFAS, also use natural flavors, artificial sweeteners, etc.
Like I said, I am a fan of using electrolytes and minerals, especially since our soil is so depleted.
👉🏼And for my pregnant & postpartum mamas- your baby takes about 4 POUNDS of minerals during your pregnancy 🤯 so it’s so important to replenish 🙏🏼

I only align myself with brands who go all the way for us - that’s why you probably haven’t heard of them - they spend their money on sourcing the highest quality ingredients and formulating the most effective products.
Other brands (those shown) spend their money on marketing.
When you buy products like LMNT, Liquid IV, Bloom, GRÜNS, Drip Drop, AG1, or most other supplements, you pay for well marketed scams that won’t help you or your body.
Supplements are one industry I would encourage you to stop buying at grocery stores, Target, Costco, etc.
Most of the time you don’t know what you’re getting.
If you are serious, you need to look at dosages, heavy metals and pesticide testing, and transparency. The industry is too shady.
When a brand like LMNT has GMO maltodextrin in their product, but hides it from the consumer, that should be all you need to know about the brand. They do not deserve your business.
They recently got caught hiding 400mg of GMO maltodextrin in their product, but it’s not even on the label. That’s more than the magnesium + potassium combined.
Other electrolytes like Drip Drop, Liquid IV, and influencer sponsored or created brands, are the same - bad salt sourcing, refined sugars, shady flavors, and GMO fillers. Most are a waste of money.
Health influencers lie to you to make money.
GRÜNS is a glorified fruit snack full of synthetic vitamins. Bloom has too many ingredients, and not in dosages proven to help you.
From my knowledge, none are transparent in sourcing, testing, or contamination (like pesticides & heavy metals).
Comment “MINERALS” and I’ll send you the electrolytes I recommend you try. This brand uses all natural ingredients, tests for glyphosate 🤯, sources the highest quality salt possible, and went all out to make terrific products for us.
It costs the same as LMNT, and the quality is infinitely better.
