We’ve been mulling over this space for a while - cosy, coastal vibes for this tucked away nook on the top floor of our house. Nothing in this house is straightforward wonky floors and uneven walls included, but the colour choice was easy. Meet Mellow Flow, one of the 2026 @Duluxuk Colour of the Year 💫 A soft airy blue that brings instant calm. We colour drenched the walls and ceiling and it’s completely transformed the loft into a cosy hideaway for guests. I ordered the paint from @Wickes using the Dulux Buying Guide and was immediately drawn to Mellow Flow for this space. From bare loft to calming blue retreat in under a week. They lose it because the brain is getting unclear info. 💥When signals from your eyes, inner ears & body’s sensory maps aren’t accurate, your brain can’t activate the right muscles fast enough to keep you upright. These systems constantly send data to your brain. When they’re “off,” your nervous system limits your capacity - to move freely, build strength, trust your balance, stretch safely, & feel calm in everyday life. That’s exactly what we’ll focus on through the end of the year - refining your balance systems along with reflexive strength, so your brain & body work together smoothly & you move into the new year steady, confident & calm. 🧠 Is your balance holding you back? Test 1️⃣ Stand on one foot & turn your head left & right. (Your lifted foot can stay just a few cm off the ground.) ⏱ How long can you stay centred & steady? ⚠️ If you wobble, your brain is struggling to stabilise eyes & body simultaneously. Test 2️⃣ Stand on one foot, then close your eyes. ⏱ How long before you sway or step down? ⚠️ Falls often occur when vision is reduced or conditions change —low lighting, bright sun, night-time, distractions, or when you can’t find your glasses. 💡 Less stability in either test means your sensory systems need fine-tuning. When you train them, you’ll: ✅ React faster ✅ Move with confidence  ✅ Reduce falls ✅ Feel calmer “Find Your Steady” — 6-Week Progressive Sessions -Slow Flow · Fri 9:30 am -Mellow Flow · Wed 6:15 pm -Vinyasa Flow · Sat 8:00 am 👵 Seniors Balance & Falls Prevention Ladies · Tues 9:30 am  Men · Thurs 9:30 am While attending at least one session ea week offers the best results (as each week will focus on testing, fine-tuning, & progressing strategically) you’ll benefit even more by joining multiple classes.
