This is a #concussion🧠💥 Even though It may look like this model brain is made of Jell-0, it’s the same consistency as a real brain! The brain is composed of soft tissue and floats in cerebrospinal fluid inside the skull. Upon rapid acceleration / deceleration (e.g.car accident, falls, head impact), the brain will bounce around within the skull. Which leads to neurological and/or psychological symptoms. Any form of a head injury leads to permanent #braindamage and impairment. There is no #mild! One love #braininjury #awareness #mindfulmarch

Anbei meine 5 liebsten Tipps, wie ich es auf das Meditationskissen schaffe. ✨setting the stage - gerne mit smudges oder sonstigen Düften ✨stelle einen Timer, um dir wirklich dieses Zeitfenster geben zu können - fang gern mit 3-5 Minuten an, Hauptsache, du schenkst dir eine kurze mentale Auszeit ✨richte dich gut ein, damit du bequem sitzen kannst ✨ fokussier dich auf deinen Atem, um anzukommen ✨mach eine Mantra-Meditation mit oder ohne #japamala 📿 - das beruhigt den Geist zusätzlich und gibt ihm eine Aufgabe ;-) Helfen dir die Tipps? Speicher sie dir ab, damit du sie immer parat hast. I have definitely been guilty of not washing my make up off at night. Gosh. My entire twenties was layered makeup on an unwashed face. Don’t asked me where I learned that bad habit because my momma certainly didn’t teach that to me - her skin is stunning and her morning and evening skin routine impeccable. In the past I’ve always used makeup remover wipes but did you those wipes are actually the worst. 🙈. I know. I was just as shocked. - The texture of 99.9% of makeup wipes is harsh enough to be considered a mechanical exfoliant. Over exfoliating will destroy your acid mantle. - Makeup wipes can cause micro-tears in your skin that can advance the aging process - it’s also one of the top three water pollutants in our beautiful ocean. I have found that that my skin feels better & looks better when I double cleanse. I use the vanishing balm by @monatofficial as my first cleanse. makeup vanishing balm is a gentle makeup remover that doesn’t strip your skin of its natural oils. It is a pre-cleanse step before you use your favorite cleanser (can be MONAT or not), that deep cleans and nourishes skin with an infusion of Rejuveniqe Oil. And I used the @cleanskinclub towels to wipe makeup - unlike wipes, they are extremely soft and kind to the skin and 100% biodegradable. So here’s my beauty mindful tip of the day : always remove you makeup before going to bed, stop using makeup wipes, double cleanse instead. Your future youthful self will thank me later.

Just 5 minutes of mindfulness can make a huge difference to your wellbeing. Here are some great ways you can be mindful in your garden this March - steal them here👇 1. Pause to watch the clouds - an easy win as it can be done anytime, anywhere. It allows you to focus and helps you to be more in tune with your thoughts and emotions. Watching clouds roll by and noticing the way they move and change can also spark your imagination and get those creative juices flowing. 2. Plant with purpose. Be completely present in the act of planting. Notice how the soil, plants and planting tools feel in your hands and become fully absorbed in the task. 3. Notice more. It’s easy to see things in the garden without really noticing. Slowing down and really paying attention to what’s around you can bring both a sense of joy and calm. 4. Garden using all your senses. Gardening is a fully immersive experience. There is so much in a garden to engage your senses. Make sure you try to tune into them all as you garden. 5. Study a flower. This is a wonderful mindful gardening exercise that is simple yet effective. Find a flower in your garden. Sit comfortably in front of it and start breathing deeply, focusing on the breath. Really start to pay attention to it. What colour is it? What shape is it? How does it feel? Is it scented? If your mind wonders not to worry, gently bring focus back to the flower. Found this useful?
