They lived, cared for, and shaped these regions for thousands of years, preserving knowledge, traditions, rituals, and deep connections with nature that continue to this day, inspiring respect and admiration for their ancestral wisdom. ⚠️🇺🇸 Meanwhile, in current politics, figures like Donald Trump and his immigration policies have intensified aggressive enforcement operations, with ICE patrolling communities across the country in a heavy-handed manner. As a result, immigration groups have increased mass detentions, confrontations, and intimidation in multiple cities, sparking protests, outrage, and accusations of abuse of power. Many Native Americans report being stopped, questioned, or even detained by ICE agents, even when holding legal citizenship documents or tribal identification, highlighting an injustice directly affecting those who are the legitimate and original citizens of this land. 🛑🔥 It is important to remember that this territory was taken by force and colonization, not legitimately conquered by those who today claim “ownership” or authority over it. The idea of expelling immigrants in inhumane ways and violently targeting vulnerable populations reflects a policy that ignores human rights, disrespects indigenous sovereignty, and marginalizes the true owners of these lands.
