MESUMMER OUTREACH IDEA FOR CHURCHES ☀️
One of the easiest summer outreaches your church can do is a Neighborhood Lemonade Stand Outreach.
Here’s how it works:
Set up a simple lemonade stand outside your church or in a busy park area. Instead of charging for drinks, give everything away for free.
Put a big sign out front that says:
“FREE LEMONADE – NO CATCH”
Then have volunteers ready to do three simple things:
1️⃣ Hand out lemonade, popsicles, and water bottles.
2️⃣ Start friendly conversations with families.
3️⃣ Offer prayer if someone shares a need.
You can also add a small table with:
• Invite cards to your church
• Information about kids ministry
• A sign-up sheet for prayer requests
This works incredibly well because summer is when families are out walking, kids are bored, and people are open to conversation.
Pro tips to make it even better:
✔ Add sidewalk chalk so kids can draw while parents talk
✔ Give out popsicles for kids
✔ Bring a small speaker and play upbeat music
✔ Offer sunscreen packets or bottled water if it’s hot
