THPCS update going from Oahu to Korea… eventually
I cannot even imagine how big of a headache the EFMP process is for military families with more complicated situations then mine 🫣
And who knew you needed to get your baby a command sponsorship when they are born overseas? I feel like that’s something we should have been told when she was born… at the military hospital 🧐
But there is finally actual process and just MAYBE we’ll be getting orders soon🙏🏻
I know I’ve heard of people not getting orders until a few weeks before a PCS, but what’s the closest timeline you’ve heard for an OCONUS (overseas) military move?

CHWe officially move out tomorrow!
Which means this is our last night in the house I brought my baby home to 🥺
But we are hoping for a smooth transition for our littles as these big changes are happening 🫶🏻
We move into TLF (temporary lodging facility) tomorrow for the remainder of our time here in Cali. I will share a tour of it once we get settled.

KEMoving often has given the “it takes a village” a whole new meaning.
My husband is in the Army which means we’ve moved 3 times in the last 3 years and we’re about to move again this year (no this isn’t normal).
With each move, it’s been a season of making new friends but also having to say goodbyes. It would be so easy for us to just say “see ya later” and just move on, but that’s not how a village is born.
A village doesn’t have to be right down the street. A village can consist of sending DoorDash gift cards or swinging by your old house when you accidentally mail a package to it (oops).
It’s checking in and listening when your thousands of miles and time zones away. It’s cherishing time together in person but also making time when you aren’t.
What a blessing that we live in a time of voice memos, Marco Polo, and FaceTime. What a blessing that they think I’m worth the distance.
