No es una metáfora suave. Es brutal. El detalle más perturbador es este: algunos burros ya no pueden hablar; otros todavía sí. Los que aún hablan son separados. 🔎 ¿Qué significa esto? Psicológicamente, simboliza el proceso de deshumanización gradual. Los que ya no hablan representan la pérdida total de identidad y conciencia. El impulso los consumió por completo. Los que aún hablan conservan restos de humanidad… pero eso es precisamente lo que los hace “inútiles” para el sistema. Por eso son apartados. El Cochero no solo explota cuerpos; elimina la voz. Cuando ya no pueden hablar, ya no pueden protestar. Y luego viene la escena más devastadora: Polilla transformándose en burro, llorando, gritando por su mamá. Ese momento rompe cualquier idea de que era solo un “chico rebelde”. Es un niño aterrado. Su rebeldía desaparece y emerge su vulnerabilidad. Es un retroceso simbólico: del “soy libre” al “mamá, ayúdame”. Mientras tanto, Pinocho comienza a transformarse. Todavía conserva parte de su conciencia. Y Pepito corre a ayudarlo. Aquí la película deja una idea poderosa: mientras exista conciencia y alguien que responda a ella, no todo está perdido. Esta escena no habla solo de castigo. So cozy ✨ In Pinocchio (1940), Figaro was Walt Disney’s personal favorite character in the film, so much so that he insisted the kitten be given as many scenes as possible during production. Because Walt loved the “little guy” so much, he eventually decided that Figaro was too good to leave in Geppetto’s workshop. After Pinocchio was released, Walt effectively “rehomed” the cat into the broader Disney universe, making Figaro Minnie Mouse’s new pet. This required Minnie to swap out her original pet, a cocker spaniel named Fifi, to make room for the feisty kitten. To this day, Figaro remains a staple of the Disney parks and shorts, often seen causing mischief for Pluto. #pinocchio #animation #disneyclassic #movie #viral

I originally posted this a few years ago, and it was most definitely the major turning point. I honestly didn’t even do a perfect editing job on this one, but this is one of the first times I really nailed the character selection, and started realizing how to make these things much better. I’ll also never forget seeing Pharoahe in my notifications that first time, clicking on his page, and realizing “oh s—, that’s really him!” What a game last night, another great Knicks win!
