How much weight should you gain when you are pregnant? Now, I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like they should just get rid of weigh ins at appointments. So rarely are they necessary and they just mess with our already fragile state. There is so much out of our control when it comes to weight gain during pregnancy. Unless there is a direct risk to the baby or you due to weight, the weighs ins should be a thing of the past. That’s just my two cents. There is so much you can achieve WHILE PREGNANT. If you are frustrated with your weigh gain, you energy and overall how you feel… You are not stuck feeling like that until you give birth. Here’s 3 things that will help you: YOUR NUTRITION: You may be eating for 2, or eating foods that are inflammatory that dont allow your body to burn fat effectively. You could not be eating the right foods at the right times. YOUR ACTIVITY: If you are inactive, it is easier to pile on the pounds. Working out (specifically weight training) just 3 times a week can really help you control and lessen overall weight gain as well as TONE UP. YOUR HORMONES: During pregnancy we have a major hormonal shift and if we dont balance them its easier to gain weight, feel fatigued, not sleep well, etc. If you just make some tweaks to your nutrition, do 3 weight workouts a week and take a few natural vitamins to help balance your hormones, you will feel and look like a different person.
