Body recomp isn’t just losing body fat and building muscle at the same time. If you’re a beginner, coming back from a break or you have more fat to lose you can start here with a moderate deficit but if… A. You don’t fit those categories B. You’ve maxed out progress here Progress is going stall - you won’t be building muscle in a deficit and you’ll be struggling to lose body fat the longer you try. Body recomp is giving muscle building phases and fat loss phases the time and attention they deserve. This means you have to approach it in phases: Phase 1: The first 8-16 weeks of your journey you enter a moderate deficit where you lose fat and build muscle (granted at a slower rate than at maintenance). You can skip this if you don’t need to lose body fat, think less than 4-6 lbs to lose. Phase 2: You finish that fat loss phase, return to maintenance and commit 4-6+ months to building muscle without gaining that body fat back. Phase 3: When you’re happy with the increase in muscle mass you enter a second deficit (if needed) to reveal more of that muscle It’s structured. It’s intentional. It’s a long term process. Trying to do both at the same time for months and years on end is going to leave you frustrated and achieving neither. Most women I talk to think they need to lose more weight, when what they actually need is a recomp!! Here’s the difference no one explains: Weight loss = chasing a smaller number on the scale Recomp = building muscle + dropping body fat so your body changes shape If you: – Lift regularly – Feel “soft” or “fluffy” even though you train hard – Are scared to eat more - Dieted multiple times – Feel like getting “serious” means giving up dinners, drinks, and a life - CANT GET RID OF THE LAST STUBBORN BODY FAT. You don’t need to try harder. You don’t need more discipline. You don’t need another diet plan! You need a plan that works with your life and goals, not against it! Recomp isn’t bulking. It isn’t losing control. And it definitely eating as little as possible. Just 5 months! Don’t rush your weight loss! I must say don’t rush, losing weight, a.k.a. body recomp. Just take your time, so that way you can preserve and keep as much muscle mass and as much curves and stick to keeping your protein high! extremely important. It is so crazy how your body can change and just five months of being consistent, determined, dedicated. I must say the change I have made within the last five months was I stopped eating as much processed foods and no I’m not perfect. I can’t give up on my processed foods, but I definitely can fall back some on as much of consuming processed foods but ever since I’ve been eating way cleaner, my body has really changed a lot, and I just hope that you guys are following along my journey and I hope I’m inspiring and being motivation for any and everybody out there that’s trying to work on them and becoming the best version of their self. I’m here to say don’t give up. Stay focused keep going and don’t let nothing, take you out of your zone. #journey #motivational #5months #eatclean #bodyrecomposition
