According to the National Sleep Foundation, over 50% of adults worldwide report experiencing at least one symptom of insomnia a few nights a week. The good news is that there are several science-backed tips to help you get better sleep. Here are our top six: 1️⃣ Stick to a regular sleep schedule: Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. 2️⃣ Get 15 mins of morning sunlight : It should be within one hour of sunrise. 3️⃣ Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. 4️⃣ Limit caffeine intake: Caffeine can disrupt your sleep even hours after consumption. 5️⃣ Have a warm water shower- one or two hours before bedtime. 6️⃣ No digital devices at least one hour before sleep : Create a relaxing bedtime routine: read a book, or listen to calming music , or deep deep breathing or do yoga nidra.....to signal to your body that it’s time to wind down.
