Use the right terms. Explain what you’re hearing. Respond clearly.
Especially when you’re on in-ear monitors, guessing doesn’t work.
Patience matters too.
The engineer is processing multiple inputs and trying to get you right as fast as possible.
Follow their instructions, trust the process, and work together.
When you take soundcheck seriously, people notice.
You get treated like a professional because you sound like one.
And yes, that kind of reputation carries real street credit in this industry.
