The Braids Reveal: 💈🎭 The design for "Prowler Miles" (Miles G. Morales) was kept top-secret during production. His distinct hairstyle and more athletic, menacing build were meant to immediately signal to the audience that this version of Miles grew up in a much harsher environment.
Color Theory: 🎨⚡ Look closely at the lighting in this scene. The heavy use of purple and green—the signature colors of the Prowler—suffuses the room, visually "swallowing" our Miles and signaling that he is completely out of his element and in enemy territory.
No Spider-Man: 🕷️🚫 Earth-42 is a "broken" world. Because the spider was brought to Miles' universe, Earth-42 never got its protector. The chaotic, crime-ridden state of the city in the background shows the grim consequences of a universe missing its Spider-Man.
