CLUn moment complètement irréel 🥹
Le temps s’est arrêté, plus aucun bruit. Observer un orang-outan dans son habitat naturel, libre, puissant et tellement paisible à la fois, c’est une sensation impossible à décrire.
On réalise à quel point ces instants sont rares, précieux… et fragiles.
Si tu rêves de vivre ça un jour, on a eu la chance de le faire avec @sumatraorangutantreks , qui nous ont guidés au cœur de la jungle pendant 2 jours incroyables 🙏🏽

WAHow to get there 🇫🇷 & 🇬🇧 ⤵️
🇬🇧 There are only 2 places in the world where you can still see Orangutans in their natural environment: 📍Sumatra and Borneo
For my part, I went to Sumatra with @sumatraorangutanexplore . If you come by plane ✈️ you will have to land in Medan, then drive about 4 to 5 hours (depending on traffic) to arrive at the entrance of the jungle in Bukit Lawang 🌿
Several treks are available:
- One day
- 2 days / 1 night
- 3 days / 2 nights
I recommend at least 2 days & 1 night to get deeper into the jungle and increase your chances of seeing several species (often endangered) 😢
Bring high socks to avoid leeches, the adventure and the night in the jungle are an unforgettable experience! 🤩
🇫🇷 Il n’existe que 2 endroits dans le monde où vous pouvez encore voir des Orang Outan dans leur milieu naturel : 📍Sumatra et Borneo
Pour ma part, je me suis rendu à Sumatra avec @sumatraorangutanexplore Si vous venez en avion ✈️ il faudra atterrir à Medan, puis entamer environ 4h à 5h de route (suivant la circulation) pour arriver à l’entrée de la jungle à Bukit Lawang 🌿
Plusieurs trek sont disponibles :
- À la journée
- 2 jours / 1 nuit
- 3 jours / 2 nuits
Je vous conseil minimum 2 jours & 1 nuit afin de vous enfoncer un peu + dans la jungle et augmenter vos chances de voir plusieurs espèces (souvent en voie de disparition) 😢
Prévoyez des chaussettes hautes pour éviter les sangsues, l’aventure et la nuit dans la jungle sont une expérience inoubliable ! 🤩

ALTraveling to the world’s LAZIEST country 😴
Indonesia constantly ranks as world’s “laziest” country for walking: Citizens here average less walking steps per day than any other country in the world. And it’s easy to see why.
Once you arrive in Bali or any other provinces in Indonesia, you immediately notice how the majority of people are driving scooters and their own cars. Going for a walk usually means walking on the open street, trying to not get hit by another vehicle.
Here in Medan in Sumatra, the street was more of a motorbike parking lot than an actual road to walk or drive on. 😅
Indonesia is one of my favorite places in the world but more walkable streets would do a lot to the country and its citizens.
